Clients reviews about Roofs and Drives Ltd

Tom and the guys have recently fitted a new roof to my old conservatory- they have done a marvellous job; turning an old, run-down conservatory into a lovely living space. Throughout the process (which was very speedy-at only a few days), Tom kept me in the loop, clearly explained my options and was polite and trustworthy. I would also like to say that given the high standard of the finished job, the price was very reasonable. He also helped by bringing along the necessary tradespeople to support the process of plastering and electrics etc. along with the fitting of the new roof. I would highly recommend this company and team of guys- they were really lovely to have around and I feel really chuffed with the result! Thank you for all your hard work. ~ Tracey A

Tom and his son Charlie and the guys who work for them are a lovely bunch of fellas and do a fantastic job. Gave us a competitive price to remove moss and clean our roof. They turned up when they said they would, did a professional job and kept us informed of their progress. Replaced the broken tiles they came across and cleaned up all the mess afterwards including any mess that went onto the neighbours properties. Will be using them again, very professional and a special mention to Carl who cracked on with a smile despite it being freezing up there. ~ Robert A

Tom and his team did an outstanding job in renewing our conservatory roof. The finished result using Metrotile and insulation is much warmer and quieter. We also had the drive and front of the house re-done, which involved a lot of preparation. Tom and his team again did a great job finishing with a resin bound uv surface. All work was done to a very high standard, and all waste taken away promptly. We would have no hesitation in reccommending Roofs & Drives to anyone considering having work done at a very competitive price. Mr & Mrs Meacher. Darlington. ~ stephen m

Excellent service and very good workmanship. I needed some roofing work done and after speaking with the team I felt confident that the job was in good hands. They turned up on time, worked hard throughout the job and kept everything organised. I particularly appreciated how clearly they explained what they were doing and answered all my questions. The finished work looks really good and there was no mess left behind. Overall, a professional and reliable service, and I would be happy to recommend them. ~ Nicholas P

Very pleased with the work carried out on my roof. From the first inspection through to completion, the whole process was handled professionally. The team were friendly, punctual and took the time to explain the different options before starting the job. Everything was completed neatly and the site was left clean afterwards. It’s reassuring to find a roofing company that actually takes pride in its work and communicates properly with customers. I’m very happy with the finished result and would happily use them again. ~ Daniel W

Really happy with the service from start to finish. I contacted the team about some roofing work and they were very helpful from the initial conversation. They explained what needed doing, gave clear information about the work and kept me updated throughout. The team arrived when expected, worked efficiently and left the area tidy once everything was completed. The quality of the workmanship was exactly what I was looking for, and the finished roof looks great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable roofing company. ~ Charlotte W

Tom and his team have left us with a first class upgraded drive. Tom was brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable to deal with from our initial no obligation quote months ago to us getting back in touch later in the year, we didn’t feel rushed whatsoever. He gave us a more than fair price for the job, the outcome of two days hard graft by him, and his team is an outstanding end product we are more than satisfied with. He should be satisfied with the high standards the team has achieved and we will be returning for more work in the future. ~ Daniel H

Tom and his team have just completed a fantastic job installing a new roof on my conservatory, installing down lighters and creating a fantastic new space. On top of that they have removed a stud wall creating a fantastic new open space in my bedroom. They have an extra mile to install new guttering, facias and soffits on the property which gives a new feel and looks fantastic. They have worked really hard to give me what I wanted. Would highly recommend Roofs & Drives to anyone looking for a harding working team who do a fantastic job. ~ Tom H

Very pleased with attentive service and great attention to detail. Had work done to replace a poorly constructed roof over an extension, and a new concrete lintel over a large window. The finished job looks great and exceeded my expectations. Also had a new tarmac driveway installed and a new brick wall built around the front garden. This work was done efficiently and effectively and much quicker than expected. All staff were skilled and polite. Happy to recommend. ~ Graham T

Cannot thank Tom of Roofs & Drives enough for the help he offered while working a few doors from my home. He and a colleague left the job they were doing and went out of their way to help out with something that had nothing at all to do with building work ending weeks of stress worrying about something. If the world was full of people like you Tom it would be a lot nicer place. Thank you so so much x ~ Rita W

Tom & his team have done a first class job of replacing our conservatory roof with a light weight simulated tile finish. Looks as though it was always there, plastered walls we now have a garden room not over hot in summer or freezing in the winter. “Great job guys” and why am I not surprised, well this is the second such conversion they have done.👍 ~ Christopher W

Tom and the lads have been an absolute pleasure! From the day they started work on our soffits and guttering they were professional, punctual and tidy. They've restored our faith as we've had a nightmare before with builders etc. Even though the weather was hot and dry they grafted none stop and as promised, transformed the exterior of our bungalow. Would we recommend? 100% yes! 😀 ~ Sally

Tommy Came out to assess the work to be carried out and agreed the price, time and date. On the day he kept me up to date on his arrival. Tommy & Karl were polite, respectful and professional whilst doing the work, cleaning up all the mess at the end and ensuring that I was happy with the work they had carried out. I would definitely use this company again. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks guys. ~ Tony C

We recently had our old Conservatory Roof replaced with an insulated Conservatory Roof and we are extremely pleased with the outcome. The difference is fantastic and the Conservatory feels so much more comfortable and usable now. The quality of the work and the finish were excellent. Highly recommended. ~ Robert P

Tom & his team are amazing, we are very happy with our new lightweight tilled conservatory roof. From start to finish we could not fault them, Tom & his team are so friendly, nothing is to much trouble, keep the men happy with cups of tea/coffee & chocolate biscuits. I would 100% recommend Roofs & Drives. Thanks Tom & the lads 😊 ~ Paul W

We have had a new roof fitted on our conservatory. Roofs and Drives did an excellent job, and the finished work looks great. The men were polite and considerate, cleared up well when they had finished and were reliable in terms of arrival and finished times, and length of time to be taken. We feel we were given very good value for money. ~ Angela E

Thank you to Tom and your team for making our conservatory into a usable room. Great price compare to other companies. New roof and interior completed in four days. The guys are so friendly and they never stopped working even when it was pouring with rain. I would highly recommend Tom's Roofs & drives company. ~ Joanna C

Tom and his team have done a fabulous job on replacing our old conservatory roof with a new tiled roof. Punctual, considerate, and hard working, great quality work and cleaned everything up afterwards. Would definitely use again and would recommend to anyone 👍 ~ Mark H

Got Tom to give me a quote for a new conservatory roof , his price was very competitive so had the roof done. Was very impressed with the job so much so I asked for a price for a new patio area. They done a great job and took all of the old roof away , what more can you say A+++ ~ Nigel B

Excellent service by Tom and his team to repair and extend our resin driveway. The repair was required because the previous homeowner who had the driveway installed had used cowboys who didn't install the proper concrete substrate nor any pin kerbs along the boundary with the lawn. ~ Andrew E

Conservatory re-roofed by Tom & team. Absolutely fantastic job, very happy with the team of guys all professionals and totally cleaned up at the end of the day …. If you are wanting a solid roof on your conservatory then I would say Tom is hard to beat on the install quality and cost. ~ Gary
